If this game is modifiable so easily and clanmembers are cheating - there s no sense to start any competition before CA is making this abuse impossible.

This time they were simply stupid, but what if someone ll change stats just slightly?

Contests of any real size are near impossible to have at any other time of the year because of vacations and holidays.

Now, if everyone is following the regulations set out, there are at least 234 (39x6) people directly involved in this contest.

Above you have one or maybe two players who have altered their game.

It is not fair to the rest of the people involved in this competition to allow their dishonourable conduct to spoil our competition.

The Rules state the following clearly.

11. Clans will be held responsible for the behavior of all of their members, with any disrespectful behavior anywhere in our community costing that Clan their right to participate in this competition.

12. Knowledge of the content and meaning of the above regulations is the responsibility of each individual Clan, please ask for help if there is something you do not understand, as ignorance of the Rules will be no excuse.

So the entire Clan of VIA MILITERA will be removed from this competition, and banned from further participation in any Empire Total War Clan Wars events.

We do not allow cheaters...

Light infantry can hide in tall grass, have exceptionally long range weapons, and with minor upgrades can do some terrible damage.

Although the picture is very convincing, without a replay we can not verify the distance, or test the circumstances by re-creation.

I was hoping to hear from Diablo, and have sent him a message, but no response yet, which is worrisome but not conclusive either.

The worst thing that I discovered in all this is that we have no protection against game modifiers at the moment.

I thought the Valve Anti-Cheat System (VAC) was in place, it is not!

Not yet anyway, and we need to get that fixed.

The Riflemen have great range and accuracy, but appear limited to an approximate 125 to 150 meters max (to my eye).

This brings up another point that I think you all should consider in your negotiations, and that is a 4 max on any unit.

An army of Light Infantry would not be a thing I would want to face.

I am going to reopen the Battle Assignments for VIA MILITERA.

Not because I do not believe the above report, but because we do not have hard evidence.

I hope the message is clear that we as a community will not stand for cheating.

To us, cheating is not clever or funny, it is very serious business, and the consequences will be very serious also.
